sellmydata is an introduction service. Companies describe data they are willing to sell, labs browse those descriptions, and we introduce the two when both agree. By listing or requesting access you accept these terms.

What we do and do not do

We publish anonymous listings, forward access requests, and make introductions. We do not receive, store, inspect, or transfer the data itself, and we are not a party to the sale. The license and the transfer are agreed directly between seller and buyer.

Sellers

When you list, you confirm that you are authorised to sell the data on behalf of your company, and that selling it does not breach your contracts with customers or employees, your privacy commitments, or the law that applies to you. That confirmation is recorded with the listing. If it turns out to be wrong, you are responsible, not us or the buyer.

You will sign a written license with the buyer before anything is transferred. We may ask to see it.

You can withdraw a listing at any time by emailing us.

Buyers

Access to the catalog is by password, given to you personally. Do not share it. Listings are confidential to you and your organisation until an introduction is made.

Fees

Listing and browsing are free. When a sale closes after an introduction we made, we invoice the buyer 10% of the price paid. There are no other fees.

Removal

We can remove a listing or refuse an access request at any time, for example if it looks like it is not genuine or the seller may not have the rights they claim.

No warranty

Listings are written by sellers. We do not verify them. The service is provided as is, and we are not liable for a deal that does not happen, or for a deal that does.
